The post about the pneumonia vaccine isn’t COPD-specific, but since many people with COPD will be offered the viral pneumonia vaccine, it’s worth including because, as you’ll see from the comments, you don’t need to have ME/CFS for it to make you very ill. It’s worth pointing out, too, that many of the things I suggest for dealing with the pandemic flu are equally applicable, if you have COPD, to ordinary flu, which kills between 12,000 and 13,800 people a year, according to NICE.
