As I said yesterday, admissions to hospital are to be restricted, putting the chronically sick in even more danger. Today, this appears in Pulse:-
Exclusive: GPs face being judged according to the death rates of their patient lists as part of plans being developed to use risk scores to identify potentially dangerous practices.(end)
Yeah – dangerous practices like excluding people from hospital would be top of my list for scrutiny!
I mean, how cynical are these bastards? On the one hand they want to reduce unplanned (i.e. emergency), hospital admissions by 20%, on the other, looks like GPs might well be carrying the can for the additional deaths that will inevitably result.
Isn’t this just a wonderful country?
