It didn’t work out, as my head cast a shadow over my book and the light caused an annoying reflection on my Kindle’s screen.
So I repurposed the camera support I made for my powerchair, as you can see.
It’s highly adjustable, as it can be clamped anywhere along that tube, and it can be raised by several feet, too, should there be a need (though at its maximum it’ll need an extension lead). Tonight, finding a position that causes neither shadow nor reflection should be easy.
The clamp is from a birdwatching hide support, and the shaft was a monopod
